Ion exchange chromatography medium CM Sanarose 6FF is a weak cation exchange chromatography medium using Sanarose 6FF as the matrix and carboxymethyl as the functional ligand. It retains the natural hydrophilicity and porous structure of agarose, has good biocompatibility, stable physicochemical properties, can withstand strong acids and alkalis, and can be cleaned in place and sterilized at high temperatures. Compared with strong cation exchange chromatography media, its fully protonated pH range (working pH range) is slightly narrower, which can bring unique separation effects.
Ion exchange chromatography technology achieves separation based on the difference in net charge on the surface of biomolecules. CM Sanarose 6FF is widely used in laboratories and downstream stages of biotechnology.
